Weekly Favourites – 29 November

So this #weeklyfavorites is all about natural skin. I have used a lot of Real Techniques brushes this week as it gives a flawless finishes to any liquid product. To help give a subtile red hue to your lips is the Body Shop lip balm in strawberry.
I am loving Mac’s Brave shade as it is a wearable dark nude shade on me. I have just been using Fairypants vegan eyeshadow in Ophelia as it a pretty glittery yet neutral shade.
My skin has been very dry so I have been using Nivea pure and natural day cream to keep the dryness at bay!

A few hair tutorials…

So today is just a simple post of a few hair tutorials that I have done on my YouTube channel. All ranging in difficulty and style. These are all the ones when I had very long hair that you may have not seen before…

And to round of this post if you haven’t already seen me cut my hair off so I can donate it to The Little Princess Trust for a child with cancer in need of a wig.

Urban Decay Ammo: Purple and Green

So I was having a play around with layering the shades from the Urban Decay Ammo palette. I really love the green but it is just too dark on its own as a lid colour. So I mixed it with the blue shade to create a new shade that is light but still has that earthy green shade.

I used the purple as a contrast to the other shades as it makes the look come to life a bit more with that kick of bright colour. I used a dark purple eyeliner from Bourjois to make the light purple shade of grifter really stand out.

Weekly Beauty favourites – 22nd November

This week I have been loving autumn colours. Starting off with a purple lipstick from Revlon that is so wearable and fun! I have been having a play around with blush and combining different shades to make the perfect colour; the Makeup Revolution ‘Sugar and Spice’ palette is perfect for that.

I have fallen back in love with the Urban Decay Naked 1 palette as it has such a versatile set of colours and is perfect for Autumn.

Also trying to cut down on foundation so I have been using a BB cream from Rimmel as it has great coverage and helps your skin keep hydrated as it is so cold; and I use the stay matte powder to set everything in place.

Wardrobe Organisation

My floordrobe wasn’t working for me so spent the morning organising my wardrobe from party dresses to day dresses, trousers, skirts, cardigans, jumpers then shirts and extra hangers! Nice and organised now!

My Favourite Spot/AcneTreatments

Some of my favourite treatments for spots, acne or oily skin. I said at the start but these are the products that work for my skin so don’t be expecting to find the perfect product here.

All skin is different and spots and acne products work dramatically different from person to person.

Weekly beauty favourites – 15th November

This week has been wet and windy so I needed makeup that will last. The @maccosmetics and @lorealparisuk base is too dark so I use @thebodyshopuk to match the perfect shade. The most long wearing mascara ever is @maxfactor; you maybe soaking wet but mascara still in tack. Loving @barrymcosmetics varnish in ‘Lap of honour’. @bourjois_uk rouge velvet lasts all day, is matte and doesn’t dry your lips out! #bblogger
