Work Wear: Style up Purple Jeggings Part 2

I love purple jeggings as they are so different and can be styled up in so many different ways. This is even the second look that I have created using these leggings from Dorothy Perkins also all pieces are taken from DP as well. The first look you can see here.

So this piece uses the contest between a quite cute and fun shirt and mixing up that young shirt with more mature accessories such as the Mary Jane your shoes and the bag.

Mixing up the classically mature style and adding a twist of young personality is great for a work or formal look as it brings out your characteristics and personality but still being professional at the same time.

Oasis Purple Lace Party Outfit

So we are in the middle of the party season however not all the way out of it yet so today I give you a practical OOTD that uses all Oasis pieces.

Starting off with the dress as it has a simple cut to the dress with very little bling and the dress main pieces are in the lace pattern. I love the detail in the dress how even the seams are made to be a statement for the dress.

The cardigan is simple and has a waterfall effect and this counters the tight fitting nature of the dress. If this was to a party the cardigan will be taken off but you need something to throw on.

The rest of the accessories are very classic with a simple gold and silver clutch bag and heals. The necklace I would add if you want the outfit to be a little bit more fun however it would look great without any jewellery as well.

New Look Party Wear

I am going to start a new series of fashion collages around a subject and a particular brand and really dive in to the different pieces that a store is making. So I am going to start with my favourite brand: New Look.

This collage is all about the different part wear pieces that I would buy in preparation for the party season. So to start off with the dresses I have chosen. The white dress with black lace and the blue dress would both be perfect for a formal Christmas event or a wedding. They are both classic and very elegant.

The gold dress I would wear for a night out or for New Years as it is very comfy as it is a bodycon dress but looks very elegant. The purple dress I would wear for a work party or dinner out with some friends.

The purple top I would wear with some skinny jeans and this would be for a day party or going shopping for Christmas things.

The accessories that I have chosen is the dark blue box clutch that would go with all pieces here. The shoes I have chosen are first the gold shoes that would bring an extra bit of glamour to any outfit. And then the black bow court shoes as it is a modern and young twist on a classic.

That’s it for this little selection. Hope you guys liked it.

Work Wear: Style up Purple Jeggings

So this is another one of my work wear looks. I love this one because it is very formal but edgy as well. The necklace and the shoes with the bead detail really gives this a whole new modern edge. I think that this could be made more formal with a smaller necklace and court shoes but I think that the look as it is works for a 20-something with an office job.

All the pieces are from Dorothy Perkins and can I just take a second to say how much I love their leggings. I have about three pairs in all different colours and they are just so easy to wear as they are soft and flexible but also look smart.

Modern Biker Chick

So this look is to create the classic bicker chick style with some more modern pieces. I incorporated a red skirt with the black jacket to add some colour to the look.

I really love the heels with this look as adding a pair of court shoes makes the look more classic. The platform and the hight however gives it a sexy edge to the entire look.

Mint Playsuit

This look I am keeping very simple as to not distract the attention from the play suit. Wearing mint can be very difficult as it is a unusual colour to wear. I’m not sure why it is unusual as it is an amazing colour for anyone.

This Look is all about keeping focus on the mint colour. The jacket is lace as when worn the mint colour shows through the holes in the lace, the necklace is a statement piece but also metallic so will reflect the mint shades of the playsuit. And finally the shoes are simple as to not attract attention from the main piece.
