This is a little graph that I have created to help out with the initial process of making a capsule wardrobe. It can feel like a huge task and I have broken it down into some small sections to get you started.
I am a big believer in the idea buying smaller amounts of clothes and wearing them creatively rather than have a big wardrobe you never wear. Seasonal or trends come and go but I think it is great to make your own unique style. Add those trend pieces in if you like them but follow your own style rather than fashion.
I have at the bottom listed a few items to get you started if you have no idea where to begin but swap things out for your own looks. I like skirts and dresses but change that up if you feel more comfortable in trousers or you require more jumpers.
Capsule wardrobes serve a purpose and you can create them for different occasions like work or a holiday. My other advice is, don’t stick to it too strictly and mix up pieces. Have a base and then change from that rather than keeping this static.
Feel free to print or adapt this in any way. The PDF is listed at the bottom for your convenience and have fun with it.
My wardrobe tour will be also up soon to see how this is translated into a real life wardrobe.
A collection of my silver rings. I always buy good quality, precious rings as they are better quality and will last a lot longer – cheap jewellery just break or turn your skin green.
I decided to treat myself to a couple of new things. So this is a haul of things from Monsoon, Primark, Dorothy Perkins and Boohoo.
Let me know about any other fashion videos you want to see in the future as I really want to do more fashion related posts and want to know what you think about that.
This is what is in my bag and all the junk that I keep in it.
I was browsing the Dorothy Perkins website and I found a few items I wish I could have. So these are my picks for when I am out of my overdraft and able to spend freely again!
So the lovely people at Majique have gifted me a few items to try out and here is the in-depth review of all these items.
I will be doing a look book or ootd in the next few weeks as well but I was really excited to share with you these pieces I had to do an unboxing.

I was browsing Osais and I was filling up a shopping cart of all the things I can’t afford so I decided instead of waste this imaginary shopping basket of the things that I want I will make it in to a wish list blog.
I love the prints and colours of all these items mostly flower and butterfly prints as I am getting prepared for Spring and Summer. I know it is February but the snow drops are out so it is nearly Spring alright!
The striped dress I feel that would work all year round and I love the hint of the salmon pink colour within the blue.
I love purple jeggings as they are so different and can be styled up in so many different ways. This is even the second look that I have created using these leggings from Dorothy Perkins also all pieces are taken from DP as well. The first look you can see here.
So this piece uses the contest between a quite cute and fun shirt and mixing up that young shirt with more mature accessories such as the Mary Jane your shoes and the bag.
Mixing up the classically mature style and adding a twist of young personality is great for a work or formal look as it brings out your characteristics and personality but still being professional at the same time.
So we are in the middle of the party season however not all the way out of it yet so today I give you a practical OOTD that uses all Oasis pieces.
Starting off with the dress as it has a simple cut to the dress with very little bling and the dress main pieces are in the lace pattern. I love the detail in the dress how even the seams are made to be a statement for the dress.
The cardigan is simple and has a waterfall effect and this counters the tight fitting nature of the dress. If this was to a party the cardigan will be taken off but you need something to throw on.
The rest of the accessories are very classic with a simple gold and silver clutch bag and heals. The necklace I would add if you want the outfit to be a little bit more fun however it would look great without any jewellery as well.
